Description:
Domestic scale supplementary solar system. The 2kW rated output power of the Solis Inverter is a good match for 8 x 275 Watt JA Solar Panels. The system can be utilized with a rotary disc meter or with a prepaid meter. A Current Transformer is included that can prevent grid-feed, in the case of prepaid meters.
 
Performance:
This system will produce 12 kWh on average per day. Assuming all this energy can be consumed or stored on the grid through the daytime, this would equate to a saving of approximately R693 per month (based on a municipal tariff of R 1.91/ kWh) This means a basic payback of 40 months based on a yearly Eskom increase of 10%.
